What CHL & CCW?
A: CHL stands for Concealed Handgun License and CCW stands for Concealed Carry Weapon. In the state of Ohio it is a CHL and your license only covers handgun (not knifes, batons, ect..).
What are the requirements to obtain my CHL / CCW?
A: 21 years old, no felonies or misdemeanor drug or domestic violence. You must also attend an approved 12 hour class.
What is the cost of the CHL?

What is the difference between NRA and OPOTA?
The NRA is known world wide for their efforts in promoting safety and 2nd amendment rights. OPOTA is the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy. OPOTA offers training to law enforcement officers. The NRA certificate is accepted in more states requirements for a CHL / CCW.
Can I still attend if I have never touch a firearm?
A: Yes, this class teaches basic firearm safety. It was designed for novice to expert.
Do we shoot the same day (CHL)?
A: No, because we hours of the range and safety of the student. We have a one-on-one policy at the range for CHL. Each person will fire all 100 rounds with an instructor standing right next to them. We do this to provide a safe environment and we can help fix any safety issues.
Where is the range?
A: We shoot at Vandiala Range and Armory. Here are the directions. VRA has the best indoor range in the area.

A: Yes, we have both live fire and airsoft programs.
Can I train on the simulator again?
A: Yes, we can do private instruction class based around the simulator scenarios.
Do you have military discounts?
A: Yes, active military will get $15 off class. You must have a active military ID.
Will you travel to Military / Law Enforcement facilities with the simulator?
A: Yes, we have a traveling unit.
